Living Life Mindfully
Reconnecting with yourself
Reconect to yourself when you need that comforting moment to remind yourself you are worthy of time out just for you.
Getting yourself into a comfortable position, whether that's lying down or sitting in a chair,
and noticing where your feet are, and feeling the weight of your body on the support.
Taking a deep breath in, and gently exhaling.
Right now, there is nothing you need to do. Nothing to fix. Nothing to figure out. Just simply being here in this moment.
And feeling the support beneath you.
Knowing you are safe where you are. You are held. Let the weight of overwhelm soften, and feel your breath moving in and moving out.
With each, with each inhale, invite in calm, and with each exhale, release the tension. Letting go of the pressure to be anything else other than yourself. And if thoughts arise, that's okay. Just let them drift like clouds in the sky. You are not your stress. You are not your to do list. You are here and you are enough.
Take one more deep breath in. Slowly let it go. You are allowed to take your time. You are allowed to grow. To change. To rediscover yourself. There is no rush. No right way to be. Only this moment. Only your breath.
When you're ready, gently bring yourself and your awareness back into the room. And you can return to this space. And you can return to this space whenever you need it
